PORT CHARLOTTE, FL — Alice Victoria (nee LeGrow) Gardner, 89, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Port Charlotte, Florida.
Alice was formerly of Wilmington, Massachusetts. She was an avid 10-pin bowler for over 50 years. She was also a talented knitter and quilter. Alice and her husband, John, were married for over 67 years and had 4 beautiful daughters.
Alice is survived by her loving husband, John T. Gardner; 3 daughters; Patricia J. Fitzpatrick, Dorothy M. Dillon, and Eileen L. McNeil; and 7 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Alice was preceded in death by her brother, George D. LeGrow; her sister, Vera M. Landry; and her daughter, Eva M. Cotter.
Services were held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte, FL.
