POLICE LOG for January 29: Gym User’s Keys Taken From Locker & Vehicle Stolen; Woburn Man Arrested

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, January 29, 2018:

  • A caller reported a suspicious male parked in front of a home on Gowing Drive. Checked OK. Male was an electrical inspector doing an inspection at the home. (7:50am)
  • Police arrested David Michael McCauley (24, Woburn) for Larceny Over $250 From A 60+/Disabled Individual. (9:47am)
  • Employee of Burlington Self Storage believes people are drinking in parking lot after hours. Now that snow is melting, he is locating numerous beer bottles and cans. (10:37am)
  • A caller reported that 10 minutes ago, a silver Mercedes struck a parked car in the MBTA parking lot and continued on without stopping or leaving a note. Caller stated truck now has a scratch on it. Police forwarded information to MBTA Police. (6:13pm)
  • Police issued summons for Wilfri Duarte (23, Lawrence) for Operating A Motor Vehicle With Revoked Registration; Uninsured Motor Vehicle; and Speeding In Violation Of Special Regulation Posted And Absolute. (7:19pm)
  • A caller reported his vehicle was stolen while he was at the gym. Caller stated he went to his locker and his keys were missing out of his jacket pocket. When he went to the lot, his vehicle was no longer there. Police put out a BOLO for his vehicle. Suspect was described as white male (20-30 year-old), wearing a white hat with green & white Celtics logo, white headphones, gray hoodie and gray jacket, black pants with white bandana sticking out of pocket, black Adidas sneakers with white stripes. (11:52pm)
