POLICE LOG for January 23: Tractor Trailer Jackknifed; Counterfeit Money Passed

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, January 23, 2018:

  • Police received several calls throughout the day concerning icy road conditions and black ice complaints. Police notified DPW upon each call. (2:26am)
  • A Grove Avenue caller reported her mother used personal information to cancel her insurance. Possible identity fraud. (9:19am)
  • Police notified DPW that Lowell Street and West Street area was beginning to flood. (11:36am)
  • A Main Street business reported a party passed counterfeit money. Party was described as a tall black male wearing a black vest and jeans. (7:58pm)
  • A tractor trailer unit jackknifed at Andover Street/Route 125. Road closed between Jonspin Road and Upton Road. Vehicle towed. No injuries noted. (11:21pm)
