POLICE LOG for January 22: Police Break Up Pot Smoking; Creepy Behavior At Bus Stop; Car Break-In

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, January 22, 2018:

  • A Carson Avenue caller reported that sometime between Sunday at 7pm and 7am this morning, his vehicle was entered and items were strewn about. Nothing appeared to be missing.  Caller wanted the incident logged. (2:48pm)
  • A caller reported 2 females were walking on Drury Lane towards School Street with one carrying a trash bag and what appeared to be a hatchet. Police were unable to locate. (3:40pm)
  • A Boutwell School employee reported a blue Honda Accord in the parking lot struck a snowbank several times. Caller was concerned for driver’s well-being. Occupants were described as black males in their early 20’s. Police were unable to locate. (4:49pm)
  • A caller reported a man was standing out at the bus stop at Wisser Street and Brand Avenue during pick-up time, staring at the kids. (5:42pm)
  • Police provided mutual aid to a swat call in Lowell. (8:01pm)
  • Police came across a suspicious vehicle in the Lucci’s parking lot. Two individuals were smoking Class D. Parents were contacted and en route. (8:20pm)
