POLICE LOG for January 16: Boston Man Facing Driving Charges; Knife Turned In; Car vs. Deer

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, January 16, 2018:

• A walk-in party turned in a knife for disposal that was located in a home they sold in Tewksbury. (12:17pm)
• Jachai J. Edwards (21, Hyde Park) was issued a summons for Number Plate Violation To Conceal ID; Uninsured Motor Vehicle; and Unregistered Motor Vehicle. (2:56pm)
• A caller reported a light pole down on Marion Street. RMLD cut power from the pole, so it’s not a hazard. RMLD will pick up the pole. (4:28pm)
• A white 2013 Toyota Venza struck a deer on Glen Road. Vehicle suffered front end damage. Deer was fine and ran off into the woods. (10:25pm)
