WILMINGTON, MA — John C. Trickett, age 62, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on January 17, 2018, at the Winchester Hospital.
John was born on April 2, 1955 at the Whidden Memorial Hospital in Everett; he was the dear son of the late David and Marie (Milley) Trickett of Wilmington. John was raised and educated in Wilmington; he attended Wilmington High School where he played hockey for the Wilmington Wildcats. John graduated with the Class of 1973.
John worked for many years as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local 103 in Boston.
John found drawing and sketching a peaceful pastime. In healthier years, he loved fishing and gardening.
John was the husband of June M. (Pidgeon) Trickett of Wilmington, father of Janette T. Wiggett and her husband Bruce of Plymouth, NH and the late John Trickett. Grampa of Jaylen Trickett of Methuen, MA and Cabot and Logan Wiggett of Plymouth, NH. He was the brother of Paul Trickett & wife Ann and David Trickett & wife Cindy all of Windham, NH, and Elizabeth Thomas and husband Bob of Sammamish, WA. John is further survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA on Saturday, January 20th from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
