POLICE LOG for January 12: Drug Arrest; Woburn St. School Staffer’s Vehicle Damaged & Purse Stolen

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, January 12, 2018:

  • A dresser table was left in a snowbank at the entrance to the town park. Police notified DPW. (12:27am)
  • A caller reported 3 males standing by the Banyan Treatment Center on Concord Street for an extended period of time. Police responded. Men were waiting for the center to open at 7am. Police transported them to Cumberland Farms to wait there. (1:58am) Manager at Cumberland Farms complained about 3 parties. Parties left on foot and making their way to Concord Street. (5:05am)
  • In a follow-up call from yesterday regarding 6 deceased geese on Park Avenue, the state’s Environmental Police was notified. (11:32am)
  • Roddy David Lunceford (20, Lowell) was arrested for a Possession of a Class A Drug. The arrest took place on Nichols Street. (1:37pm)
  • A Woburn Street School employee reported her rear passenger window had been smashed and her large black pocketbook is missing. Vehicle was parked in the school’s lot. Police checked area to see if pocketbook was dumped nearby. Caller was advised to cancel all debit and credit cards. (2:45pm)
  • A car struck a Verizon pole and 35 MPH sign on Shawsheen Avenue. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. Police notified Verizon and DPW. (9:52pm)
  • A car struck a pedestrian on a bicycle in the area of the North Reading line, across from Fed-Ex. No injuries noted. North Reading Police to handle. (11:31pm)
