Wilmington Senior Center Hosting Free Tax Assistance For Residents 60 + Over

WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington Department of Elderly Services will provide free income tax assistance through IRS VITA Program (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance).

Wilmington residents ages 60 and older may schedule an appointment by calling the Wilmington Senior Center at 978-657-7595.

The program begins in February at the Wilmington Senior Center.

All tax returns are prepared with computer accuracy and are electronically filed for rapid refunds. Clients should bring the following documents to their appointment:

  • Current year’s tax information and last year’s tax return
  • W-2 forms
  • Social Security & pension information
  • Tax forms sent by any and all financial institutions
  • Property tax & water bills

Anyone in need of transportation should make arrangements when scheduling their appointment.
