WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, January 8, 2018:
- A Cedar Street resident reported her mailbox was struck and damaged sometime since Thursday. (8:41am)
- A Wicks Circle resident reported a trash truck took down on a wire on the street. Wire was a cable wire. Police notified DPW and Russell Disposal. (8:54am)
- Police issue 4 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (1:42pm)
- Bus 11 was stuck on ice at McDonald Road and Salem Street. Police notified DPW for sand. (2:55pm)
- Multiple callers reported the lights at the Burlington Avenue and Main Street intersection was not cycling properly, causing major traffic back-ups. Police notified Mass Highway. (6:33pm)
- A Grove Avenue reported a pipe burst in her home. Police notified Water Department. (6:39pm)
- A black 2004 Ford Escape got stuck in a snowbank near Speedway on Main Street. Tow truck got vehicle free. (7:34pm)
