POLICE LOG for December 28: iPad Possibly Stolen, Truck Gets Stuck On Butters Row

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, December 28, 2017:

  • A black 2016 Nissan Maxima and a gray 2013 Chrysler SE 300 were involved in a crash at Main Street and Richmond Street. No injuries noted. Vehicles towed. (10:20am)
  • A walk-in party reported a package that was supposed to contain an iPad was dropped off at her house to her daughter. The box was sealed. But when the box was opened, the iPad was missing. (11:13am)
  • Wilmington Animal Control Officer was covering for Reading today. He removed a dog and cat from a Reading home following a sudden death. (1:32pm)
  • A large truck was reported stuck on Butters Row. By the time police arrived, truck was gone. (2:20pm)
  • Police received report of two males fighting outside of Congregational Church on Middlesex Avenue. Police responded. One of the individuals was still on site and said it was a road rage incident. He does not wish to press charges. (3:28pm)
  • A vehicle was parked on roadway of Glen Road, obstructing the lane of travel. Police was able to advise owner to move vehicle. (10:07pm)
