POLICE LOG for December 25: Police Respond To Trouble On The Roads During Christmas

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, December 25, 2017:

  • Reading Police Department reported an aggressive driver entering Wilmington via 129. Wilmington Police stopped the vehicle on Nichols Street. Driver admitted to slowly passing a motor vehicle. He was sent on his way. (3:54am)
  • DPW reporting vehicles parked along roadway on Lockwood Road is preventing the plow from getting down the street. Police spoke with a visiting health aide and advised her to move her vehicle. (9:31am)
  • A vehicle got stuck in the middle of the roadway on Blackstone Street. Police advised caller to contact AAA.  If unsuccessful, on-call tow truck will be called. (10:42am)
  • DPW reporting a resident throwing snow into the street on Brand Avenue. Police advised individual who agreed to stop throwing snow into the street. (12:55pm)
  • A town vehicle packed into a parked car on Lincoln Street. No injuries. (1:36pm)
  • A caller reported hearing someone scream “you’re hurting my arm” on Fairfield Avenue. Caller was unsure if the scream came from an adult or child. Police were unable to hear anything or locate anyone. (7:05pm)
