POLICE LOG for December 19: Train Strikes Deer; Customer Threatens Employees; Mulch & Gravel Spills

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, December 19, 2017:

  • A vehicle slid on ice and struck a wall in the parking lot of Dunkin Donuts on Main Street.  Vehicle eventually pulled into West School House parking lot. AAA was called. (8:51am)
  • Truck from D&D Mulch dumped load of mulch in roadway on Lowell Street. Police notified DPW. (10:22am)
  • A train struck a deer in the Ballardvale Street area. Deer was euthanized. (12:59pm)
  • Employee at Pepsi on Eames Street reported a disgruntled customer came in and threatened teachers. Police attempted to make contact at customer’s house. (1:08pm)
  • Gravel was spilled in the roadway on Salem Street. State Police Truck Team and DPW were notified. (1:43pm)
  • David A. Dow II (38, Salem, NH) was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation of Motor Vehicle and Improper Operation of Motor Vehicle. Dow was pulled over on Salem Street. (2:16pm)
  • An Appletree Lane caller reported a package, delivered by the post office, was missing. (3:32pm)
  • A Wildwood Street resident reported window of travel trailer parked in yard may have been damaged by neighbor’s BB gun. (4:56pm)
