POLICE LOG for December 18: Teen Goes Missing From Group Home; Coyote Issues

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, December 18, 2017:

  • A juvenile from the Milestone Group Home on High Street got into a vehicle and left the program. Staff member will be in the station to fill out a missing person’s report. (7:40am)
  • Animal Control Officer retrieved a deceased long-haired cat on Federal Street. The cat was not chipped. (9:55am)
  • Police received a call concerning suspicious vehicle with a stick-on Comcast logo on it on Hopkins Street. Vehicle’s operator was walking around properties. Police were unable to locate. (1:49pm)
  • A Hanover Street resident was concerned about coyotes living behind her shed. Animal Control Officer completed a check and determining no coyotes were living there.  Officer did note, however, that coyotes are likely in the area due to the chickens in the neighbor’s yard. (3:25pm)
  • A Brentwood Avenue resident reported an iPhone 7 lost sometime Saturday night. Caller stating the phone is now pinging in Lowell and will be in contact with the Lowell Police. (6:31pm)
  • Domingo Garcia-Suero (56, Lawrence) was arrested on warrants. (8:48pm)
