WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, December 7, 2017:
- Police noted a mailbox on Woburn Street was laying on the ground. (2:47am)
- Police searched for an elderly woman missing from a Shawsheen Avenue residence. Tewksbury and Billerica Police notified. Police also checked Senior Center. Woman returned home. She had gone for a walk and got a ride home from a neighbor. (9:58am)
- A 3-vehicle crash occurred at Woburn Street and Concord Street. One driver received a citation for the red light violation. Driver was transported by Fire Department. One vehicle towed. (10:32am)
- A Lowell Street caller reported a lost wallet. Caller later located wallet in his trash barrel. (12:08pm)
- A vehicle got stuck on one of the boulders in Colonial Park Liquors. AAA responded. (12:26pm)
- Andover Police reported their DPW caught two male parties spray painting over a Mass DOT sign. Individuals took off in a white box truck heading towards Wilmington. Police were unable to locate. (1:57pm)
- A Somerville Avenue caller reported neighbor pulled a knife on caller when he went to retrieve ball from yard. Caller was advised to get into house and lock the door. Police responded. (4:02pm)
- A walk-in party dropped off a box of ammunition for disposal. (4:41pm)
