POLICE LOG for December 6: Multiple Reports Of Reckless Driving; Crash At Middlesex & Glen

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, December 6, 2017:

  • A caller reported she pulled out of a gas station on Main Street and a vehicle followed her and then tried to run her off the roadway. Police were unable to locate. (7:18am)
  • A trash truck traveling north on Route 38 was dumping trash along the roadway. Police notified. Driver returned to area to clean up trash. (9:06am)
  • Police notified DPW that the ‘right turn only’ sign at Lowell Street and Main Street was knocked over and in the bushes. (11:53am)
  • Police installed five car seats during its weekly drop-in install hours. (12:10pm)
  • A two-vehicle crash occurred at Middlesex Avenue and Glen Road. No injuries noted. One vehicle towed. (5:21pm)
  • Police received report of a black Audi passing vehicles on the wrong side of the road on Chestnut Street and traveling at about 60 MPH towards Burlington Avenue. Police were unable to locate. (5:53pm)
  • Police noticed a party on food behind the Fourth of July Building. Individual was a neighborhood resident out for a nightly walk. (11:28pm)
