POLICE LOG for December 4: Knife Found In Roadway; Swearing Skateboarders; Coyote Sighting

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, December 4, 2017:

  • A caller located a knife in the roadway on Frederick Drive and moved it to the side. Officer responded and retrieved the knife for disposal. (7:01am)
  • Police issued 6 speeding citations on Glen Road. (9:29am)
  •  An Ashwood Avenue reported a large coyote in their backyard. (10:17am)
  • A walk-in party wanted it logged her vehicle’s tailgate was frozen sometime between 10pm last night at 6am this morning. (10:35am)
  • A walk-in party reported vehicles were using Harris Street as a cut through, speeding between 5pm and 6:30pm. (1:06pm)
  • A Lowell Street caller reported a scam call from someone impersonating National Grid. (2:42pm)
  • Police issued 8 parking citations in the MBTA parking lot on Main Street. (3:41pm)
  • A caller reported two white males — approximately 18-years-old — were skateboarding in and out of traffic in the Wilmington Plaza and yelling profanities. Police responded and sent them on their way. (7:52pm)
