POLICE LOG for December 3: ATV on Railroad Tracks; Trash Burning; Water Main Break

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, December 3, 2017:

  • Police notified Water Department of a water main break on Harold Avenue. (7:47am)
  • A Revere Avenue caller reported his neighbor is burning trash in the backyard. Fire Department advised homeowner of burning regulations and extinguished the fire. (12:21pm)
  • Wilmington Methodist Church employee reported that a tractor trailer from Nova Scotia has permission to park in its lot overnight. (3:31pm)
  • A passerby reported ATV on railroad tracks off of Salem Street. Police notified Amtrac to proceed with caution. Police were unable to locate. (4:57pm)
  • Police notified DPW that the right turn only sign was knocked over at Lowell Street and Main Street. (5:12pm)
  • Police gave a driver a verbal warning for going out the wrong exit of Wilmington Crossing. (5:56pm)
