WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, December 2, 2017:
- Eddie A. Ayala (27, Lowell) was arrested for Operating A Motor Vehicle With Revoked or Suspended License and No or Expired Inspection Sticker. Ayala was pulled over at Richmond Street and Main Street. (1:27am)
- A leaf blower and Christmas decor caught on fire in a Hopkins Street yard. Fire was extinguished by homeowner before Fire Department arrived. (4:20pm)
- A Burlington Avenue caller reported they may have fallen victim to a phone scam. (5:01pm)
- State Police and Fire Department responded to a car fire on Route 93 North, near Exit 41. (5:59pm)
- A Tomahawk Drive caller reported kids playing ding dong ditch in the area. Police were unable to locate. (9:11pm)
- A Concord Street caller reported that throughout the day, multiple vehicles have driven down her driveway and then left. Police responded. House behind her has excessive Christmas decorations and cars may be attempting to view. (10:22pm)
