POLICE LOG for December 1: 2 Reports Of Packages Stolen From Porches; B&E; Burglary; RMLD Scam Calls

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, December 1, 2017:

  • Police notified of an overnight breaking and entering at Express Movers on Waltham Street. (9:42am)
  • A caller at Simards reported a phone scam from people claiming to be from Reading Light. (12:17pm) [Editor’s Note: Reading Light recently issued a alert to customers about this ongoing scam. Read it HERE.]
  • A Housing Authority staff member reported a resident broke into the Community Room overnight and stole several items. The incident was captured on video. Police issued a summons. (12:21pm)
  • A Woburn Street resident reported a package theft. (1:39pm)
  • A caller from Clockfolk of New England on Jefferson Road reported a phone scam from people claiming to be from Reading Light. (2:42pm)
  • A walk-in party reported a stolen package off of their front steps. (5:10pm)
