POLICE LOG for November 25: Mother Nabbed For Alleged Shoplifting With Children In Tow; Assault & Battery; OUI Arrest

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are ELEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, November 25, 2017:

  • Gray 2014 Toyota Camry struck “right lane must turn right” sign and bush in front of Tremezzo on Lowell Street. No airbags deployed. No injuries noted. Patient refusal. Called in by driver. Vehicle towed. Family member picked up driver. (12:30am)
  • A caller reported 3 suspicious people — possibly all in their 20’s — all dressed in black — were continuously walking back and forth across the street from Cumberland Farms and Market Basket on Main Street. Police were unable to locate. (2:58am)
  • A caller reported someone broke the rear window of his vehicle sometime overnight. (7:40am)
  • Heidi Skillman (55, Cumming, Georgia) was issued a summons for assault & battery. A caller reported a vehicle pulled up next to her in the Shriners Auditorium parking lot while she was taking items out of her vehicle. Party got impatient trying to exit the vehicle and purposely struck  caller with the vehicle’s door. (9:37am)
  • Police assisted with a funeral escort at St. Thomas. (9:46am, 11:25am)
  • A caller reported a pack of cigarettes was missing from his vehicle, possibly taken while at Cornerstone Mitsubishi on Main Street earlier in the day. (3:22pm)
  • Jodi Pas (40, Derry, New Hampshire) was issued a summons for larceny over $250. Target’s Store Loss Prevention requested an officer after Pas was caught allegedly stealing four speakers while shopping with her children. Pas received the summons and a no trespass order. (3:56pm)
  • Market Basket requested extra patrols overnight after unknown parties are going through their dumpsters behind the building and throwing trash on ground. (4:14pm)
  • A Marie Drive resident reported his car was side-swipped while parked. Neighbors obtained other vehicle’s plates. Police tracked down other drive, who was an elderly woman who was unaware she truck the vehicle. Police assisted in paperwork exchange. (5:01pm)
  • Police were out with an individual next to Panera Bread. Individual was on break from TJ Maxx, smoking a Class D substance. Police advised individual. (5:43pm)
  • Gail M. Marinaccio (62, Lincoln) was arrested for OUI Liquor. Marinaccio was pulled over at Main Street and Mass Avenue.  Burlington Police contacted Wilmington Police after erratic operation on Wilmington Road in Burlington. (9:49pm)
