In this interactive presentation, explore the impact of the longevity revolution and the “changing face of retirement”.  Explore the importance of connection, engagement, purpose and meaning in life plus some 21st century strategies for thinking about work. Presented by Dorian Mintzer a licensed psychologist, life coach, and owner and president of Revolutionize Retirement and co-author of The Couples Retirement Puzzle.

Mill Girls *RR

Entrepreneurs sought out independent, hard-working farm women to help fill the labor void during the American Industrial Revolution, creating the largest gathering of young unmarried, unaccompanied women who earned their own pay. Boston Brahmins, who bankrolled New England’s mills, inadvertently triggered new social forces that rippled across the country. Presented by author and lecturer Doug Stewart, who has written stories for the Smithsonian, National Wildlife, and others.

Dads and Donuts

Dads and their kids ages two and up are invited to drop in for stories, songs, rhymes and more.  Moms, grandparents and other caregivers are welcome, too! Ages 2-5 and one or more adults
