POLICE LOG for November 15: 2 Men Steal Debit Card From Resident At ATM; Trash & Recycling Bins Stolen

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, November 15, 2017:

  • A blue 2006 Chevy Silverado struck a deer on Andover Street. Deer ran off into the woods. (7:18am)
  • A Fox Run Drive homeowner reported their trash and recycling bins were both missing. Police notified DPW. (12:58pm)
  • A propane tank was left on the sidewalk near CVS on Main Street. Police retrieved tank and brought it to the station. (3:20pm)
  • Sister of a Cook Avenue homeowner reported a dark Chevy pickup sat outside vacant residence for prolonged period. Caller is concerned because several items were stolen from yard over the past few weeks. Police responded, but truck was gone upon arrival. (6:50pm)
  • A caller reported two males in their late teens/early 20’s stole his debit card from the ATM. He chased them. They threatened to assault him and fled. Vehicle described as a grey pickup truck. One male party was described as a white male, 5′ with short blonde hair. Caller cancelled ATM card. (9:03pm)
  • A caller witnessed a teenage driver strike and kill a cat on Shawsheen Avenue. Caller moved cat to side of road, but could not console the driver. Police responded and was able to console the driver. Police notified DPW. (10:20pm)
