VIDEO: Police Department Highlights Town’s New Pedestrian Warning Lights

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Police Department recently posted a short video highlighting the town’s new pedestrian warning lights. The signals are designed to alert motorists of pedestrians preparing to cross the street. Warning lights are now located in front of the library, high school, Fourth of July building, and Registry of Motor Vehicles.

Pedestrians are reminded to use caution before stepping into the crosswalk. The new lights are warning lights, not stop lights.
