POLICE LOG for November 13: Armed Home Invasion & Robbery

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, November 13, 2017:

  • A caller stated that 2 women and 1 man came into her apartment at Avalon Oaks and took her medications. Caller reported that the women showed handguns and the man has a crowbar. Both women are described as white. 1 female described as having dyed red hair. The other as having brown hair with blonde tips. The male was described as tall, athletic build and having some sort of voice changing machine. All 3 suspects were wearing ski masks and dark sweatshirts. Police notified State Police for a K9 unit. A BOLO was put out to surrounding cities and towns. (1:40am)
  • Police noted a vehicle has been parked in the St. Dorothy’s parking lot for approximately a week. Dispatch left a message at the number provided by the Nortwood Police Department for the vehicle’s registered owner. (10:27am)
  • Animal Control Officer reported a resident trapped a raccoon on Glendale Circle. Officer advised resident of laws regarding wildlife. Animal was released into the woods. (11:13am)
  • A tractor trailer unit operator reported he took down wires on Broad Street. Police notified RMLD and Comcast. (12:44pm)
  • A party reported he was the victim of a fraudulent sports memorabilia scam in April of this year. (1:29pm)
  • A Fitz Terrace caller reported she received a scam call asking for her social security number. (4:15pm)
