POLICE LOG for November 12: Police Warn Of Vehicle Thefts From Planet Fitnesses In Neighboring Communities; Car Rollover

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, November 12, 2017:

  • Police received report of a roll over on 93 South, near Exit 41. The vehicle hit a guardrail.  State Police on scene. One party complained of shoulder pain. Fire Department handled scene. (1:13am)
  • Police notified Water Department of a water main break at Pilcher Drive and Gearty Street. Roads were temporarily shut down. (7:10am)
  • A caller reported his parked vehicle was struck while he was in Market Basket. Vehicle did not stop. Witness gave caller the license plate of the other vehicle. (12:15pm)
  • A caller reported a man with tattoos, wearing a jean jacket, made threats towards him because he stepped in front of him at line at Market Basket. Caller stated suspect ran off towards Radio Shack. Police were unable to locate the suspect. Police determined there was no criminal activity, just an irate customer. (1:05pm)
  • Police advised party about not walking on the train tracks near Pizza Mia on Middlesex Avenue. (2:38pm)
  • Police reported the barricades at the Butters Row Bridge are missing again. This is an ongoing issue. DPW will be notified. (5:56pm)
  • Police made contacts with employees and customers at Planet Fitness on Middlesex Avenue regarding two motor vehicle thefts at Planet Fitnesses in surrounding towns. Employees will advise customers to lock their keys up. (8:22pm)
