WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington High School’s Lamplighters’ Drama Guild is ready to entertain you!
They will perform “Rumors,” a comedic farce written by Neil Simon, on Friday, November 17 (7pm) and Saturday, November 18 (1pm and 7pm) in the Wilmington High School Auditorium (159 Church Street).
According to Samuel French, “At a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden’s Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get “the story” straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.”
Tickets cost $15 for adults and $8 for students, seniors (65+) and children (>12). Tickets are available online HERE or at the door. Seating is general admission.
