WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, November 6, 2017:
- 4-car crash occurred on 93 South, near Exit 40. Minor injuries reported. All refused transports from Fire Department. (6:13am)
- Police notified of a deceased deer partially in the roadway near Shea Concrete on Salem Street. (6:42am)
- A Towpath Drive caller reported he is doing contract work across the street and heard a woman yelling that she had been robbed. She had come home to two parties in her house — described as average build males wearing all black, wearing black ski masks, carrying two black duffel bags. Police put out BOLO and requested K9. Police temporarily detained individual behind 99 Restaurant who, it turns out, was not involved. (1:19pm)
- A Corey Avenue caller concerned bus is over a half-hour late to drop off kids from Boutwell. School stated substitute driver is having hard time with the route. (2:16pm)
- A walk-in party reported her boyfriend has been missing since noon yesterday. Station officer spoke with male party over the phone. He stated he was OK, having personal issues, and needed some space. (4:53pm)
- A 2-vehicle crash occurred outside of Simards. Both vehicles towed. Airbags deployed. No injuries noted. Sirius XM radio reported accident notification. (7:49pm)
- Patrick J. Fahey (26, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor, Negligent Operation of Motor Vehicle, Speeding, Leaving Scene of Property Damage, Marked Lanes Violation, and Failure To Stop For Police. A caller reported Fahey was operating on Route 62 towards North Reading and almost causing several crashes, tailgating, and going into the opposite lane of traffic. Fahey’s vehicle ultimately crashed into a pole. (9:55pm)
