POLICE LOG for November 2: Road Rage Incidents; Kid’s Bike Stolen; Car vs. Pedestrian

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, November 2, 2017:

  • Animal Control Officer brought an injured rabbit to a rehab in Woburn. (9:40am)
  • Fire Department responded to possible small brush fire on Lopez Road. (12:17pm)
  • A vehicle struck a pedestrian on Church Street. Fire Department transported patient. (12:25pm)
  • A caller reported a truck with an unfamiliar driver was trying to back over her father on Harold Avenue. Truck was described as a white Chevy pickup with blue trim and roof rack. Police were unable to locate vehicle. (3:10pm)
  • A caller reported his bicycle was stolen from outside McDonald’s within the last 20 minutes. Bike was a black BMX with Mongose tires. (4:27pm)
  • A Forest Street resident called reporting gun shots. Police advised caller it was the Police Department. (6:15pm)
  • Police found two bicycles behind the dumpster at Sonic on Main Street. (6:56pm)
  • A caller reported she was being “brake checked” by another vehicle and when they stopped at a light, the operator exited the vehicle and began yelling at her. Police spoke with other driver, who alleged the caller had cut her off. No physical altercation occurred. (7:38pm0
  • Walk-in parties reported fraudulent charges on a bank account. (9:27pm)
