WILMINGTON, MA — If you’re looking to get rid of some of your children’s Halloween candy, below are two great local options!
We’re One Wilmington Collecting Candy For Local Seniors & Shelters
From Wednesday, November 1 to Saturday, November 4, We’re One Wilmington is collecting leftover Halloween candy. Candy can be dropped off at The Cleaner Spot (209 Main Street). Candy will be packaged and send to various worthy organizations. For more information or to arrange an alternative delivery location, email info@onewilmington.org.
Also, Halloween costumes can be dropped off at The Cleaner Spot through Wednesday, November 15. Costumes will be made available to children who are with the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families next year.
Wilmington Youth Soccer Collecting Candy Donations For Troops & Veterans
Wilmington Youth Soccer has organized a “Treats For Troops” collection from Wednesday, November 1, 2017 through Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Shawsheen School Fields. Collection will take place from 5pm to 6pm on Wednesday through Friday, and 9am to 3pm on Saturday.
Wilmington Youth Soccer players are encouraged to donate leftover Halloween candy. Candy should be placed in the marked boxes. Candy will be donated to the Soldiers’ Angels “Treats For Troop” program.
