POLICE LOG for October 21: Bag of Beer Bottles Dumped In Canal; Parking Dispute Leads To Thrown Coffee; Summons Issued

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, October 21, 2017:

  • A caller reported a man dumped a bag into a canal off of Shawsheen Avenue and left in a White Nissan Rogue. Police responded. The bag contained beer bottles and cans. Caller volunteered to clean it up and dispose of cans and bottles properly. (12:18pm)
  • A party reported a white & purple Light ‘n Leisure delivery truck struck their parked vehicle on Marion Street within the past two hours. Company will follow up with driver. (12:54pm)
  • Police received report of teens riding dirt bikes on Greenmeadow Drive. Police were unable to locate. (1:32pm)
  • An employee at Cumberland Gas Station reported two customers were arguing about who would get to use a particular pump. One party then called to report that a woman threw coffee on his vehicle and left towards Tewksbury. Police will try to contact female party. (3:08pm)
  • Ronald Allen Rader (63, Lynn) was issued a summons for uninsured motor vehicle; operating motor vehicle with registration revoked; and no or expired inspection sticker. (5:45pm)
  • A caller reported multiple people were walking around her parking lot on Avalon Drive for the past half hour. Police responded. Situation checked OK — kids were playing hide and seek. (8:08pm)
