WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, October 19, 2017:
- Ruben A. Santana (Lawrence, 40) was arrested on three outstanding warrants. The arrest took place in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot on Middlesex Avenue. (2:20am)
- A Pouliot Place caller requested extra patrols between the hours of 7am to 8am, and 2pm to 3pm. Caller believed students from the Tech are cutting through Pouliot Place and speeding. (7:22am)
- Police assisted with ALICE drills at the West Intermediate School, Boutwell Early Childhood Center, and Wildwood Early Childhood Center.
- Police arrested Ryan Andrew Cavalcanti (23, Marlborough); Michael A. Baptista (27, Malden); and Jared Paul Donaghey (23, Woburn) were arrested on warrants. Baptista and Donaghey were placed in protective custody and taken to Winchester Hospital. The arrests took place at Avalon Oaks. (10:43am)
- Police came across a resident draining pool water into a storm drain on Salem Street. Police advised homeowner of the bylaw violation. (11:02am)
- A North Street caller reported damage was done to her fence and mailbox this morning. Homeowner will follow up with the trash company. (2:04pm)
- A caller reported there was a glass bottle thrown from a car on Chestnut Street. (5:22pm)
- DPW mechanic fixed police cruiser tire that had a nail in it. (6:45pm)
