POLICE LOG for October 16: Tree Falls On Home; Dirt Bikes Stolen; Unlocked Car Entered Overnight

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, October 16, 2017:

  • A Glen Road resident reported a tree fell onto their house and possibly damaged the electric service. Fire Department and RMLD responded. (5:18am)
  • Wilmington Police notified Tewksbury Police of a water main break on Miles Road in Tewksbury. (5:24am)
  • Police issued 6 parking citations in the MBTA Parking Lot on Main Street. (1:51pm)
  • An Evans Drive caller reported his unlocked vehicle was entered overnight. Nothing was taken, but center console and glove box was rummaged through. (2:28pm)
  • School zone speed sign in front of the Wildwood is on the verge of falling down. Police notified DPW. (2:29pm)
  • The manager of the Salvation Army on Main Street reported 2 mini dirt bikes were stolen from a locked trailer in a locked area behind the store sometime between last Monday and Thursday. (4:32pm)
