Poetry Circle *RR

The Intelligent Career *RR
Monday, October 23, 10 am
Michael B Arthur, Emeritus Professor at Suffolk University and co-author of the book An Intelligent Career: Taking Ownership of Your Work and Your Life, is a regular writer and speaker on behalf of intelligent career owners. He will discuss the key points from his book that will provide direction on taking control and setting the direction for your own life and career. Professor Arthur has received an Academy of Management lifetime achievement award for his work, and is also co-developer of the Intelligent Career Card Sort® (ICCS®) career exploration instrument.

Stained Glass Mosaic Tile Workshop *RR

Create a mosaic tile trivet with real stained glass. Perfect for your home or to give as a gift. Mosaics is the “art of Imperfection”, no prior experience is necessary. Led by artist Leslie Doherty of WaysofColor.com. Cost $15. Register at main desk.

Legends and Haunts of New England *RR

You will not believe your eyes and ears as you take this journey to some of the most haunted places in New England. Bara-Hack, The Victoria, John York House, Belcourt Castle, an 1801 farm in Thompson, The Tavern on Main.  These and many more complete with videos, pictures, EVPs and some amusing events await, as this presentation becomes your personal tour guide to the other side without ever having to leave your seat!

The super popular, internationally epic game of tag comes to Wilmington as a library-friendly version played after hours. BYO foam dart blasters. Socks and bandanas provided. Grades 4-8

Family Escape the Room: Library Edition
Saturday, October 28, 2 pm, 3 pm or 4 pm
Competing with a team of up to 8 people, families must stretch their problem solving skills and escape the room together before the buzzer sounds!  Grades 2-6
