POLICE LOG for October 8: Late Night False Alarm Calls; Alleged Assault

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, October 8, 2017:

  • Andover Street caller reported two males were in her driveway going through her vehicles. Police responded. No signs of attempted entry of vehicles noted. (3:28am)
  • Planet Fitness employee reported she was just assaulted by a male co-worker.  Suspect was described as a black male, approx. 6’2″ with a skinny build with the first name “Roberto.” Police were eventually able to locate the alleged assailant.  No arrest information provided, aside from bail being set at $540. (7:30am)
  • Police responded to a motor vehicle lockout with an infant inside. (11:13am)
  • Police notified the Tree Department of a fallen tree across the roadway on Fay Street. (12:00pm)
  • Resident of Regency Place reported hearing a vehicle doing burnouts in the neighboring lot. By the time police arrived, vehicle was gone. Tire marks were evident throughout the lot. (9:01pm)
  • A Leonard Lane caller reported hearing someone walking in the woods behind her shed. Police responded and determined it was likely wildlife. (11:34pm)
