WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, September 30, 2017:
- Craig R. Lucchini (44, Andover) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With Suspended Or Revoked License and Speeding In Violation Of Special Regulation Posted. (1:32am)
- A caller reported a female in a vehicle at the intersection of Middlesex Avenue and High Street didn’t move for approximately 5 minutes. Police responded. Party checked OK. She was tired from working a late shift and was almost home. (5:54am)
- Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout in the Market Basket parking lot. (12:36pm)
- Eastern Bank teller accidentally set off the holdup alarm. (12:41pm)
- A caller reported the door on the mailbox at the Whitfield site was wide open. No visible damage. Police notified the Post Office. (1:51pm)
- George Godding (33, Wilmington) was arrested for a Possession of a Class A Drug. Arrest took place on Apollo Drive after police observed suspected drug activity. (7:38pm)
- Fire Department responded to an oven fire on Ashwood Avenue. (8:25pm)
- Panera Bread employee reported 3 intoxicated juveniles just left the store. Police located individuals behind Citizens Bank. Parents picked up the juveniles. (9:41pm)
- Gary P. Kapala, Jr. (Lowell, 45) was arrested for OUI Liquor, Operating A Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, Warrants, and Marked Lanes Violation. Gary P. Kapala III (28, Lowell) was taken into protective custody. Arrest took place at Main Street and Burlington Avenue after receiving calls of an erratic operator. (11:33pm)
