POLICE LOG for September 29: Irate Customer Throws Things At Employee; Road Rage Incident; 3 Arrests

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, September 29, 2017:

  • A caller reported a possible road rage incident on Everett Avenue. Caller stated a white Ford van almost hit his vehicle. When the caller flashed his high beams to alert the van, two male parties got out of the vehicle and punched the caller’s window several times. (6:03am)
  • A Wilton Drive resident reported finding a racing pigeon in his garage. Animal Control Officer was able to locate owner and returned bird. (9:39am)
  • Minor accident between a car and motorcycle at Concord Street and Woburn Street. No injuries. (12:14pm)
  • Street sweeper broke down on Glendale Circle. Not a traffic impediment. Tow truck on the way. (12:44pm)
  • A GNC employee reported a disgruntled woman tried to return calcium supplement and then threw items at him when he refused the return because the woman wouldn’t show a photo ID per store policy. Woman also called the police, but refused to give her name, phone number, or where she was calling from. Employee will discuss a possible no trespass order with management. Employee was able to take a photo of the woman’s license plate. (3:56pm)
  • Police notified DPW that the boulders blocking the pedestrian walkway at the Woburn Street School was moved and vehicles are now using it as an exit. A caller reported almost being hit by a car. (5:59pm)
  • Police made three arrests at Colonial Park Liquors parking lot. Azwad Anwar (23, Wilmington) was arrested to selling/delivering liquor to a person under 21 and possession of a Class B drug. Jason Trudelle (18, Wilmington) was arrested for possessing liquor under the age of 21.  A 16-year-old was also arrested for possessing liquor under the age of 21. (8:02pm)
