POLICE LOG for September 27: 2 Summons Issued To Drivers; Crash Sends 2 To Hospital

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, September 27, 2017:

  • Police came across a man digging through the trash at Sunrise Market, looking for scratch tickets. (1:58am)
  • Benjamin Ramirez (37, Derry, NH) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license and marked lanes violations. (7:35am)
  • Charalmpos Ntemai (22, Beverly) was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of motor vehicle, crosswalk violation, and failure to notify RMV of name/address change. (12:39pm)
  • A gray 2011 Toyota Camry and a Brown 2005 Ford Explorer were involved in a crash. Both vehicles towed. Both operators transported to Lahey Clinic. (5:22pm)
  • A caller reported a possible hand-to-hand exchange of something by groups in a Gold Sedan in the Shawsheen School parking lot. Police responded. Item in question was a football. (7:15pm)
  • An Avalon Drive resident reported their packages were possibly stolen. (9:00pm)
