POLICE LOG for September 25: Water Department Equipment Shot, Pool Emptying Causes Street Flooding

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, September 25, 2017:

  • Police noted a pool on Boutwell Street had been emptied, causing a large puddle to form on the roadway. Police were unable to contact the homeowner. (1:06am)
  • Water Department reported someone shot through the well building on Salem Street and damaged a generator. (8:55am)
  • Fire Department responded to a gas leak at L-3 Communications on Jonspin Road. (10:18am)
  • Police had a conversation with an Aldrich Road resident who was blowing yard debris into the roadway. (1:54pm)
  • A juvenile walked away from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (2:26pm)
  • A student driver vehicle and a gray 2010 Honda Pilot were involved in a minor crash near the Registry of Motor Vehicles on Middlesex Avenue. (2:31pm)
  • A walk-in party reported a roommate he used to live with opened a Sprint account in his name. (3:14pm)
  • Police issued citations for speeding and an open container of alcohol to the driver of a blue 2010 Ford Mustang on Wildwood Street. A field sobriety test was done and the operator passed.  (11:59pm)
