POLICE LOG for September 23: 17-Year Old Arrested For OUI; 2 Additional Incidents Involving Teens

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, September 23, 2017:

  • A 17-year old was arrested for OUI Liquor and Marked Lanes Violation. The juvenile’s 2001 Mercedes Sable struck a pole on Chestnut Street. No injuries noted. Vehicle towed. Pole was snapped. (1:51am)
  • While responding, police noticed another juvenile wandering out of hte Greemeadow Drive construction site. Police placed the juvenile (17) in protective custody. (1:55am)
  • Joshua L. Fantauzzi (31, Lawrence) was arrested on a warrant. Police came across Fantauzzi near Target waiting for a cab. (1:58am)
  • There was a car vs. motorcycle collision on the 93 South 38 ramp. State Police handled scene. Fire Department responded. (2:10pm)
  • Reading Police reported a car vs. child on bicycle collision in their town. Vehicle, with severely damaged headlights, was last seen heading towards Wilmington on Lowell Street. (7:08pm)
  • A 16-year old was issued a summons for Unlicensed Operation Of Motor Vehicle and Failure To Stop/Yield. Juvenile was pulled over at Main Street and Lake Street. (8:23pm)
