POLICE LOG for September 21: Theft At Wildwood Cemetery; Car vs. Deer

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, September 21, 2017:

  • Fire Department responded to smell of gas odor at Avalon Oaks. (7:16am)
  • Police notified DPW that the Winkomatics at the North Intermediate School aren’t working. (8:08am)
  • State Police responded to crash on 93 North, near Exit 40, involving a deer. (10:37am)
  • A caller reported a man in his 30’s vomited inside As Good As It Gets, then urinated behind the building. Man took off on foot on Lowell Street. Caller had man’s wallet. Police tracked man down and gave him a ride to his residence. (10:51am)
  • Police received report of items taken from a grave site at Wildwood Cemetery. (12:34pm)
  • Police issued 14 citations for having an unlicensed dogs. (1:52pm)
  • A caller reported 2 cars occupied by kids, driving erratically up and down Ashwood Avenue. Police were unable to locate. (2:36pm)
  • Waltham Pest Control removed a large hornets nest at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center. (5:32pm)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout at Market Basket. (9:36pm)
