WILMINGTON, MA — On Saturday, September 23, the Town of Wilmington dedicated a recently planted Elm Tree at Rotary Park in remembrance of Wilmington fallen hero Sean Collier.
The tree’s plaque reads: “Collier Strong: This Tree of Life Dedicated in Memory of MIT Sean Collier: Compassionate, Charitable, and Committed to his Community and his Friends.”
This effort was spearheaded by the Wilmington Planning Board. Town DPW workers and Dale Tree Movers & Tree Farm installed the 6″ caliper Princeton Elm memorial tree.
