WILMINGTON, MA — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, September 19, 2017:
- Police smothered smoldering mulch at Shell Station on Main Street. (2:37am)
- A caller reported wires have fallen onto his dump truck on Main Street. Police notified RMLD and Comcast. RMLD had to temporarily cut power to a nearby house. (8:30am)
- A black 2011 Toyota Camry truck the Shell Station’s building on Main Street. No structural damage, but some trim damage and downspout is damaged. (11:44am)
- Christopher O’Connell (20, Wilmington) was issued a summons for Operating A Motor Vehicle With A Revoked Or Suspended License; Speeding In Violation Of Special Posted Regulation; and Failure To Wear Seat Belt. O’Connell was pulled over near the Wildwood School. (2:24pm)
- Police issued 5 speeding citations on Wildwood Street. (2:30pm)
- State Police and Fire Department handled a 2-vehicle crash, with injuries, on Route 125. Route 125 was temporarily closed. (3:40pm)
- A caller reported a man threw a soda out of his car window on 495, striking her vehicle. She followed him off the highway to Ballardvale Street. State Police were notified and handled the situation. (6:33pm)
- A Buckingham Road resident reported his license plate was stolen. (7:09pm)
- Police spoke to a large group of kids in the Shawsheen School parking lot. They were advised to clean up their trash. They’ll be moving along shortly. (8:50pm)
