POLICE LOG for September 16: Business’s Sign Stolen; Bird Trapped In Building Sets Off Alarm

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, September 16, 2017:

  • A man allegedly stole a framed advertising sign from the sidewalk in front of TJ’s Barber Shop on Main Street valued at over $250. (8:34am)
  • Staff at the Milestone Group Home on High Street reported issues with residents leaving the house and walking through neighboring properties. (12:06pm)
  • A Salem Street resident reported their garage was struck by an unknown vehicle earlier in the morning. (1:12pm)
  • Alarms were going off at Ritchie & Son on Ballardvale Street. There was a bird inside the building setting off the alarm. (2:15pm)
  • Police received two calls from Fiorenza Drive of someone banging on their doors and/or windows. Police checked properties and were unable to locate. (7:53pm)
