VIDEO: Senior Center Holds Alzheimer’s Association Fundraiser

WILMINGTON, MA — On Thursday, September 14, the Wilmington Senior Center held a “Root Beer Float Day” to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association.

Wilmington Community Television was on hand to record the event.  WCTV’s Lisa Kapala interviewed Elderly Services Director Terri Marciello and Case Manager Laura Pickett. They will be participating in the ‘Walk To End Alzheimer’s’ in Cambridge on Sunday, September 24.  Marciello and Pickett also discussed a support group the Center currently offers for caregivers and announced that a ‘Memory Cafe’ will hopefully soon be coming to the Center.
