POLICE LOG for September 5: Cars Doing ‘Donuts’ In Market Basket Parking Lot; After-Dark Trespassing

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, September 5, 2017:

  • During a check of Yentile Farm, police located 2 individuals on the field. Police advised them that park closes at 10pm. (1:21am)
  • A Lake Street caller reported the back window of a vehicle parked in his driveway was broken. (8:28am)
  • Three callers reported a man in his 50’s, with a dog, appeared to be falling over while sitting on a bench on Main Street. Police responded. Man refused medical treatment and will walk home. (1:15pm)
  • A caller reported a car was parked on the side of the road on Pinewood Road and it sounds like someone is digging in the woods. Police responded and situation checked OK. Man was cleaning out the culvert in preparation of the upcoming storm. (7:02pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a grill fire on Carter Road. (7:26pm)
  • Police dispersed a group of juveniles in the Shawsheen School parking lot and sent them on their way. (9:32pm)
  • Police received report that multiple cars were doing “donuts” in the Market Basket parking lot. Police responded. No damage done to any vehicles, but burnout marks in employee section of lot.  Police sent a group of juveniles on their way. (10:15pm)
