POLICE LOG for August 27: Attempted Car Break-In; Side Mirror Breaks In Car Wash; Suspicious Car Follows Walker

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, August 27, 2017:

  • Fire Department responded to small mulch near CVS. (1:39am)
  • A Woburn Street resident reported someone attempted to break into his vehicle in his driveway. Police responded and checked area, but were unable to locate anyone. (4:35am)
  • A walk-in party reported he was followed by a dark colored Toyota for approximately 10 minutes yesterday — around 9:30pm — while out walking. Police advised caller to contact station if it occurs again. (9:29am)
  • A caller reported his side mirror came off her vehicle while using the Triton Car Wash today. Caller wanted the incident logged. Employees told her to call to speak with their boss on Monday. (2:26pm)
  • A resident requested extra traffic enforcement at Pouliot Place and Reed Street due to ongoing speeding issues. (7:35pm)
