POLICE LOG for August 5: Boat Left On Town Property; Yield Sign Missing At Key Intersection

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FOUR highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, August 5, 2017:

  • Police notified DPW of a pothole on Hopkins Street. (6:23am)
  • A caller reported a small boat on the walking path from Kilby Street to the ball fields behind Town Hall. Police notified DPW as the boat was on town property. Police contacted Harbor Master to figure out owner. (9:47am)
  • A Radcliff Road caller reported she is having an ongoing issue with kids in the neighborhood on the Tewksbury end of her street speeding up and down the roadway. Caller initially contacted Tewksbury Police, who advised her to speak with Wilmington Police. (12:06pm)
  • Police notified DPW that the yield sign at Middlesex Avenue and Salem Street is missing. (2:55pm)
