WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, August 1, 2017:
- Wilfredo Carlos Santiago (19, Lowell) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; marked lanes violation; and registration not in possession. (1:02am)
- During check of Yentile Farm, police noted that the basketball court was littered with empty water bottles and sports drink bottles. (1:29am)
- A cashier reported an elderly man inside store was requesting directions back to his residence. He seemed confused. Police responded and followed vehicle back to home. (9:49am)
- Police issued a citation for speed on Butters Row. (11:46am)
- A Reed Street resident reported finding a needle. Police responded. Item was an insulin injector. Police brought back to station for discard. (4:45pm)
- A caller reported he was buying a boat off of Craigslist. He met the seller in the Target parking lot where seller told him to follow him to the boat. Seller then drove down Andover Street, towards Bob’s Autobody. Caller found the seller’s actions to be suspicious and drove away. (5:38pm)
- A Pleasant Road resident reported identity theft. (8:16pm)
