POLICE LOG for July 28: Human Remains Found; Golfing On Yentile Turf Field?, Juvenile Passes Counterfeit Bill

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, July 28, 2017:

  • Police received a report of a person hitting golf balls on the turf field at Yentile Farm. Individual was gone by the time police arrived. (10:15am)
  • A walk-in party believed her father’s license plates were stolen. (11:17am)
  • A caller reported that while surveying land in the Middlesex Avenue area, they came across a boot with a bone in it. Police notified State Police, the State Police Crime Scene Unit, and the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office. (12:01pm)
  • Five citations given out for unregistered dogs. (1:49pm)
  • A caller reported a hit and run at Main Street and Eames Street involving a Honda Civic and Mercedes. No injuries reported. (1:57pm)
  • State Police and Fire Department handled a motor vehicle crash into the median on 93 North, prior to Exit 40. (2:34pm)
  • A Marion Street caller reported a scam phone call involving a Direct TV scam. (3:30pm)
  • A Burger King employee reported four juveniles passed a counterfeit $10. Police spoke with the suspect at his home with his mother present. (8:08pm)
