POLICE LOG for July 24: Cat In Tree; Bird Trapped In House; Birds Nest In Dryer

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FIVE  highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, July 24, 2017:

  • Animal Control Officer responded to a Castle Drive home which had a birds nest in a dryer vent. Officer was able to relocate nest. (10:43am)
  • A Miller Road caller reported a cat stuck in a tree for the past 1.5 days. Animal Control Officer responded and left an open can of tuna out. Cat eventually came back down. (12:40pm)
  • A walk-in party reported money was stolen from her bank account. (4:34pm)
  • Police notified DPW the Somerville Avenue street sign was missing. (7:48pm)
  • Police officers were able to remove a bird trapped in an Olson Street home. (10:22pm)
